Monthly Deeds

Join us for a once-a-month, hands on service project for kids and families. The idea is simple: ethical values are best learned through practice. Each month, children and their grownups will work side by side on a tangible act of service; helping neighbors, supporting local organizations, and putting compassion into action. The goal is to give kids an outlet to do good and build a culture of ethical action from the ground up. Check our calendar below for upcoming Deed events. All families are welcome-—please register in advance!

Family PArties

Every quarter we invite families to join together for food, music, crafts, and conversation as we celebrate community and explore how we’d like to grow together. Gatherings feature local musicians and are open both to families just learning about the Ethical Society and members. If you’re looking for a safe third space to build community with others who care about kindness and raising thoughtful children, these events are for you! Check our calendar below for upcoming gatherings. All families are welcome-—please register in advance!

Sunday PES Platform

Have children but still want to attend our weekly Platform on Sunday at 11 am? We’ve got you covered! We have books, games, and art supplies for children to play with during the Platform, either at the back of the room or in other space at our Rittenhouse location. A rotating group of parent volunteers entertain children during this time.
