About the event

This event will provide a basic overview of the FBI (to include common misconceptions), its role in hate crime cases, and guidance on how people can recognize and report hate crimes to local and/or federal authorities.  It will also discuss resources available to survivors, lessons learned from previous investigations, and best practices for safety.  A Question & Answer session will follow the main presentation.

 

Speaker David Condo joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent in 1999.  He worked white collar crime and online child exploitation investigations in Baltimore, Maryland for seven years and was a founding member of the Innocent Images International Task Force.  He then worked in various leadership roles and other assignments in Washington DC; Phoenix, Arizona; Anchorage, Alaska; and Cincinnati, Ohio.  David’s first experience with the secular community was attending the Godless Americans March on Washington in 2002, and he has supported multiple…
