Please join us for our next Classical Open Mic on September 30 at 7 PM Philadelphia Ethical Society on Rittenhouse Square!
Our 9-foot Steinway Grand Piano is ready for another evening of beautiful, unamplified music. Musicians of all backgrounds are welcome to perform one acoustic piece under 7 minutes. We warmly invite both Western and global classical traditions—including classical, neo-classical, minimalist, baroque, romantic, and folk-traditional music. The basic rule is no amplification. Each musician will be permitted to play approximately 7 minutes.
SIGN UP AS SOON AS YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO PLAY! We try to get all musicians on stage, but there's a small possibility that we won't have time if you sign up close to the date. Whether you are performing or listening, please feel free to bring a favorite snack or drink to share!
